Description:

The painting depicts a vibrant and detailed scene of a departure by sea. On the left, a group of figures stands on the shore, observing the unfolding events. Among them, a central male figure, presumably Jason, is depicted with a determined stance. He is surrounded by other figures, some appearing to offer blessings or farewells, while others seem to be his companions or Argonauts. They are dressed in classical-style garments in various colors, including white, blue, and red. Several vessels are present in the water. A large, ornate ship with billowing sails dominates the right side of the composition, seemingly ready for a long voyage.
