 It is an oil painting on canvas created in Paris during August-September 1886. The painting depicts a bouquet of colorful flowers in a dark vase against a reddish-brown background. The flowers include pink, red, white, and yellow asters and gladioli, painted with thick, visible brushstrokes. Some white flowers are also scattered on the blue surface in front of the vase.
